Refund, Cancellation & Transfer Policy

1. All sales are final

Registrations are non-refundable. By purchasing, you acknowledge that you are buying a limited seat at a capacity-constrained live event, that we commit to venue, catering, faculty, and production costs in reliance on confirmed Registrations, and that those costs are incurred well in advance and are not recoverable if you do not attend.

This Policy sets out the only circumstances in which a refund, credit, or transfer is available.

2. Name transfers — the easiest option

You may transfer your Registration to another individual at no charge, up to 7 days before the first day of the Program.

• Send the transfer request from the email address on the Registration to anthony@anthonygucciardi.com, with the replacement attendee's full name, title, company, email, and phone.
• The replacement attendee must accept the Terms of Service and Attendee Terms & Conditions before admission.
• One transfer per Registration. Further transfers are at our discretion.
• Transfers are not permitted within 7 days of the Program, because materials, catering, badges, and certificates are finalized at that point.
• A transferred Registration carries the same price, inclusions, and restrictions as the original. No refund or credit arises from a transfer, including where the replacement attendee paid you a different amount.

If you cannot attend, transfer your seat. It is the fastest option and it preserves the full value of what you paid.

3. Cancellation by you

3.1 Cancelling 30 or more days before the Program

If you notify us in writing at anthony@anthonygucciardi.com 30 or more calendar days before the first day of the Program, we will issue a credit equal to 100% of the amount you actually paid, subject to the following:

• The credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and may be applied to any Program of equal or lesser value; you pay the difference for a Program of greater value.
• The credit is one-time only — a Registration booked using a credit cannot itself be cancelled for a further credit.
• The credit is issued to the original purchaser, is not redeemable for cash, and is not transferable to another person or organization except with our written consent.
• If the credit is not used within 12 months, it expires with no residual value.
• If you paid using a discount, promotional rate, group rate, or early-bird price, the credit reflects the amount actually paid, not list price.

3.2 Cancelling fewer than 30 days before the Program

No refund and no credit. Your Registration is forfeited in full. You may still transfer your seat under Section 2 up to 7 days before the Program.

3.3 Non-attendance

If you do not attend without cancelling, your Registration is forfeited in full — no refund, no credit, no transfer.

3.4 Late arrival and partial attendance

Programs are sold as a whole. Arriving late, leaving early, or attending only part of a Program does not entitle you to any refund, credit, or partial adjustment.

3.5 Removal for conduct

If you are refused admission or removed from a Program under the Attendee Terms & Conditions or the Code of Conduct, your Registration is forfeited in full with no refund, credit, or transfer, and we reserve all other remedies.

4. Payment plans

If you purchased under an installment payment plan, all remaining installments remain due and payable notwithstanding your cancellation or non-attendance, except where we cancel the Program under Section 5.2. Where a credit is issued under Section 3.1, it is calculated on amounts actually paid, and any unpaid installments remain your obligation until the balance is satisfied.

5. Changes and cancellation by us

5.1 Changes to speakers, agenda, format, or venue

We may change speakers, faculty, agenda, session content, schedule, delivery format, or venue (to a comparable venue in the same metropolitan area) at any time. These changes do not entitle you to a refund, credit, or transfer, and your Registration remains valid. Registrations are sold for the Program as a whole and not for the appearance of any particular individual.

5.2 If we postpone the Program

If we postpone a Program to a new date, your Registration automatically transfers to the rescheduled dates at no additional cost. If you cannot attend the new dates, you may, within 14 days of our postponement notice, elect either:

• a credit equal to 100% of the amount you paid, valid 12 months; or
• a refund of 100% of the amount you paid.

If you do not respond within 14 days, your Registration remains booked on the new dates and Section 3 applies from that point.

5.3 If we cancel the Program entirely

If we cancel a Program and do not offer a rescheduled date, you may elect either a full refund of amounts actually paid or a credit of the same amount valid 12 months. If you do not elect within 30 days of our cancellation notice, we will issue a refund.

5.4 Force majeure

If a Program cannot be held, in whole or in part, because of an event beyond our reasonable control (as described in the Terms of Service), we may postpone, relocate, shorten, or convert the Program to a virtual or hybrid format, or cancel it.

• If we postpone, relocate, shorten, or convert the Program, your Registration remains valid and no refund or credit is due, provided we deliver a materially equivalent educational program.
• If we cancel the Program outright due to force majeure, you will receive a credit valid 12 months, or, at our discretion, a refund of amounts actually paid.

In no force majeure scenario are we liable for travel, lodging, transportation, or any other expense you have incurred.

5.5 Our maximum liability

In every scenario in this Policy, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you actually paid us for the affected Registration. We are never liable for travel, airfare, lodging, ground transportation, parking, meals, insurance, lost time, lost business, lost profits, or any other direct or indirect cost.

6. Travel — read this before you book

Do not book non-refundable travel or lodging until Program dates are confirmed in writing.

We do not reimburse travel, airfare, change fees, cancellation fees, lodging, transportation, parking, or any other expense under any circumstance — including where we change speakers, change the agenda, change the venue, change the format, postpone the Program, or cancel the Program for any reason, including force majeure.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers event cancellation and trip interruption.

7. Group and corporate registrations

Registrations purchased by an organization for multiple attendees are subject to this Policy in the same way. Name transfers under Section 2 apply per seat. Where an organization cancels part of a group booking, any volume or group discount may be recalculated at the applicable rate for the reduced number of seats, and the difference will be deducted from any credit issued.

8. Payment disputes and chargebacks

If you have a concern about a charge, contact us first at anthony@anthonygucciardi.com. We respond to refund and billing inquiries within 5 business days and will work with you in good faith.

Nothing in this Policy limits any right you have under applicable law or under the rules of your card network or payment provider. However, initiating a payment dispute without first contacting us — where the charge is valid and consistent with this Policy — is a breach of the Terms of Service. In that event we may present this Policy and your recorded acceptance of it to the card network, recover amounts properly owed to us together with reasonable costs of collection, cancel the Registration, and decline to sell to you in the future.

9. How to make a request

All cancellation, transfer, credit, and refund requests must be made in writing to anthony@anthonygucciardi.com from the email address associated with the Registration, and must include the attendee name, order number, and Program name.

Requests are effective on the date we receive them, not the date you sent them. Requests made by phone, social media, or to any other address are not effective.

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.
