Refund policy

We want this to be simple and fair, so here it is in plain language before the detail. You have a full 24 hours after purchase to change your mind and get a complete refund. After that, registrations are non-refundable. The room is capped, and every seat we hold is a seat somebody else could not buy. What we do instead is let you send a colleague in your place, free, right up until the week of the program. In practice that solves almost every situation.

1. The 24-hour window
If you change your mind, tell us within 24 hours of your purchase and we will refund you in full. This applies to every registration, no matter how close to the program you buy. Email hello@aimultiplierseries.com from the address on the order. No explanation needed. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days; your bank may take longer to post it.
2. After 24 hours, all sales are final
Registrations are non-refundable once the 24-hour window closes. By purchasing, you acknowledge that you are buying a limited seat at a capacity-constrained live event; that the seat is removed from inventory the moment you buy it; that we commit to venue, catering, faculty, and production costs in advance in reliance on confirmed registrations; and that those costs are not recoverable if you do not attend. Discounted, promotional, early bird, and multi-seat registrations are likewise final.
This policy sets out the only circumstances in which a refund or transfer is available.
3. Name transfers, the easiest option
You may transfer your registration to another individual at no charge, up to 7 days before the first day of the program.
- Email hello@aimultiplierseries.com from the address on the registration with the replacement attendee’s full name, title, company, email, and phone.
- The replacement attendee must accept these terms before admission.
- A transferred registration carries the same price and inclusions as the original. No refund or credit arises from a transfer, including where the replacement attendee paid you a different amount.
- Transfers are not available inside 7 days, because badges, catering counts, materials, and certificates are finalized at that point.
If you cannot attend, transfer your seat. It preserves the full value of what you paid and takes about a minute.
4. Non-attendance, late arrival, and partial attendance
If you do not attend without transferring, your registration is forfeited in full. Programs are sold as a whole; arriving late, leaving early, or attending only one of the two days does not entitle you to any refund or adjustment.
5. Changes we may make
We may change speakers, faculty, agenda, session content, schedule, or venue, to a comparable venue in the same metropolitan area. These changes do not entitle you to a refund, and your registration remains valid. Registrations are sold for the program as a whole, not for the appearance of any particular individual. If a named speaker withdraws, we replace them at equivalent standing.
6. If we postpone or cancel
6.1 Postponement
If we move the program to a new date, your registration automatically transfers at no additional cost. If you cannot attend the new dates, you may request a full refund of amounts actually paid within 14 days of our postponement notice. If you do not respond within 14 days, your registration stays booked on the new dates and this policy applies from that point.
6.2 Cancellation by us
If we cancel the program and do not offer a rescheduled date, you receive a full refund of amounts actually paid. No exceptions and no credits-only substitution.
6.3 Force majeure
If the program cannot be held, in whole or in part, because of an event beyond our reasonable control, including fire, flood, severe weather, public health order, act of terrorism, labor action, utility or venue failure, or government restriction, we may postpone, relocate, shorten, or convert it to a virtual or hybrid format. Where we deliver a materially equivalent educational program, no refund is due. If we cancel outright for force majeure, you receive a refund of amounts actually paid.
7. Travel, please read before you book
Do not book non-refundable travel or lodging until you have your confirmation in hand. We do not reimburse airfare, change fees, lodging, ground transportation, parking, meals, or any other expense under any circumstance, including where we change speakers, change the agenda, change the venue, postpone, or cancel for any reason including force majeure. We strongly recommend travel insurance covering event cancellation and trip interruption.
8. Our maximum liability
In every scenario in this policy, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you actually paid us for the affected registration. We are not liable for travel, lodging, transportation, lost time, lost business, lost profits, or any other indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
9. Group and multi-seat registrations
Registrations purchased for multiple attendees are subject to this policy in the same way, and name transfers apply per seat. Where a multi-seat registration is reduced, any volume discount may be recalculated at the rate applicable to the reduced number of seats.
10. Billing questions and payment disputes
If something about a charge does not look right, contact us first at hello@aimultiplierseries.com. We respond to billing questions within 5 business days and will work with you in good faith. In most cases we can resolve it the same day.
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under applicable law or under the rules of your card network, and we will never penalize you for exercising those rights. We ask only that you contact us first, because we can usually resolve a billing question faster than a dispute can. If a dispute is filed, we will provide the card network with this policy, your order record, and your recorded acceptance of these terms, and we will abide by the network's determination.
11. How to make a request
All cancellation, transfer, and refund requests must be made in writing to hello@aimultiplierseries.com from the email address associated with the registration, and must include the attendee name, order number, and program name. Requests are effective on the date we receive them. Requests made by phone or social media are not effective.
12. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes arising out of or relating to this policy are subject to the dispute-resolution provisions of Section 19 of the Terms of Service, including binding individual arbitration and the arbitration opt-out described there, which control over this Section. For any matter not subject to arbitration, the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in this policy waives any non-waivable right you may have under the consumer-protection laws of the state in which you reside.
